The Festival of Trees and Traditions is always a wonderful time to enjoy the Wadsworth and all it has to offer. The various choirs singing and other entertainment adds to the festive feel. Its a great event to get ideas or even a tree or wreath to support the museum. Local highlights included Jane’s wreath “All Curled Up With My Favorite Music” and the “Sensory of the Seasons” tree with ornaments made by the resident’s of McLean’s in Simsbury. Its always a joy to see what groups and individuals come up with each year, then wander around the museum to see the new exhibits. Lunch at the Arch Street Tavern and a quick stop at the Governors mansion finished off a great trip.
